Circularity - explored in depth by none other than emeritus professor Jan Jonker, a leading expert in sustainable, circular, and collective business models. In the morning, we’ll start with the fundamentals: what are circular business models, and how do they work in practice? In the afternoon, we’ll take it a step further and dive into the idea of a ‘WEconomy’

Morning
9 - 9.30 am: Welcome & Registration
10 - 12 am: Session 1: Getting started with circular business models
In this morning session, Jan Jonker introduces the core principles of circular business models. How does a circular model differ from a classic linear model? What role do multiple value creation, supply chain collaboration, and systems thinking play in this new way of doing business?
Lunch
12 am – 2 pm: Community Lunch
An informal lunch to further engage in conversation with circular start-ups, faculty members, students, and other interested entrepreneurs. Take the opportunity to expand your network and create unique contacts with the entrepreneurs and thinkers of tomorrow's economy.
Afternoon
2 - 4 pm: Session 2: Ready for the New Economy? – WEconomy & Transition to Circular Entrepreneurship
This afternoon session focuses on the "WEconomy": an economy geared towards collaboration, co-creation, and the generation of shared value. Professor Jonker will discuss how organisations can prepare for the transition to this new economy and what this means for entrepreneurship in a circular context. This session offers concepts, tools, inspiring cases, and reflections on the role of entrepreneurs and companies in a changing economy.
4 - 5 pm: Closing drink & networking

Jan Jonker specialises in sustainable, circular and collective business models, and their crucial role in the transition towards a future-forward economy. He is a former professor of Toulouse Business School and Nijmegen School of Management. He is currently writing his 36th (!) book, 'A Transition of Meaning'.
